In case you didn’t notice, I have just launched a new website! There are so many great features to help you search Steamboat Springs real estate listings. I wanted to highlight a few of my favorites, specifically using the ‘Search by Location‘ search method.

Before We Begin… Sign-up or Login!
To fully take advantage of all of these search tools, I recommend you Sign Up so that you can Save Searches and Save Listings. If you have already signed up, login now!

Map of Steamboat Springs Terrain
'Search By Location' reveals handy terrain map of Steamboat Springs
Simply click on the Search by Location button and you will be taken to a map, floating just above Steamboat. Zoom in and out, and click and drag to see everything that’s on the market. I specifically chose to feature the map as a terran map so that you can see the roads, the Yampa River, but most importantly, so you can see the lay of the land. The Ski Area, Howelsen Hill and all of the gorgeous mountains in our Yampa Valley are easy to spot so you can easily navigate to wear you want to find your dream home!

Switch to Satellite – Or Road Map
Switch easily between Terrain, Street Map & Satellite Map
If you prefer to search by Satellite, you can click in the top right corner to switch to Satellite map. If you prefer to go super simple, click on Map, and un-check Terrain. Search however you prefer! Please note, the satellite imagery of Steamboat on Google is quite outdated. For example, if you were searching for property at Trappeur’s Crossing Resort, you would see on the Satellite map that Aspen, Bear and Emerald Lodges are still not build. Aspen was built in 2006!

Filter the Results on the Map
Look for the Search Filter button on the top left of the map to narrow your search
On the right hand side, just above the map, look for the Search Filters button. This will reveal a drop-down menu when you can create a much more advanced search! Enter your minimum and maximum prices, bedrooms, type of property and so on. The map will update with your search criteria. Again, you can zoom in and out, and click and drag to reveal the results in different areas of Steamboat.

Take a Quick Glance at Your Dream Home
Click on icons to reveal bubbles of essential information
Simply click on the icons to open up a bubble of information – from price, pics, bedrooms, square footage – and of course price! You can open up multiple bubbles to easily visually compare.

Easily View, Save or Request More Info on Each Listing
Click 'View' on the map to open up the detailed real estate listing information, & 'Save Listing' for a later date!
Click 'Save Listing' and the top button will update to 'Saved Listing'
Simply click ‘View’ to go to all the MLS details about the property. Here you can view more photos, detailed description and all of the minor details – from sewer to schools, from laundry to landscaping. Best of all, if you like this listing, here you can ‘Save Listing’ so that you can re-visit in your ‘saved listings’ later. It will show as ‘Listing Saved’ when you click ‘Save Listing.’ You can also ‘request more info’ or ‘schedule a showing’ with me. Perhaps you spotted a fantastic home for a friend. You can share the property with your friends too.
When you are finished reading about this listing, simply click on ‘Back to Map.’

Average Prices, Square Footage & Lot Sizes in Every Area of Steamboat Springs!
Map Statistics provides average home pricing, lot size and square footage based on your search criteria and the area that you are viewing in the map
I love this featured! Click on the Map Statistics button on right hand side of the map to reveal all kinds of stats! This tool pulls the average home price, lot size, and square footage of all the homes in the area that you are viewing on the map, and based on your advanced search criteria. Zoom in and out, or click and drag around the map to see how the stats change in different neighborhoods in Steamboat. Zoom all the way out and simplify your search criteria to discover the average price for a 3 bedroom home in downtown Steamboat Springs.

Save Listings & Searches for Later
You can save any listing or search so that you don't have to seek out the listing, or run the same search over and over again.

We talked about saving listings, but you can also save searches to re-visit the same search later. When you save a search, you can also set up ‘House Track’ email updates which will send you updated listing info or new listings based on your saved search criteria. Visit your Saved Listings page to also update how often you receive these emails – daily, weekly or not at all!
