Strawberry Park

About The Strawberry Park Real Estate Area

Strawberry Park is the neighborhood just north of downtown Steamboat Springs which most people experience as they drive to the picturesque and revitalizing Strawberry Park Hot Springs. Others are fortunate enough to live in this exclusive – and breathtakingly beautiful – part of the Yampa Valley, where Steamboat’s ranching history and abundant wilderness merge, just minutes from historic downtown Steamboat Springs.

The area includes Strawberry Park, Strawberry Farms, Soda Creek Highlands, and the homes up Buffalo Pass road toward Dry Creek. As you drive on RCR 36, you’ll pass multi-million dollar homes with horses grazing in the fields. As you go further up the (rough) road you’ll pass an impressive aspen grove with “off the grid” homes using solar panels. Up Buffalo Pass (RCR 38), more multi-million dollar homes border the national forest and have incredible views. Soda Creek Highlands has impressive views of Steamboat Springs.

The area got its name from the strawberries that were grown in the area when Steamboat was first settled. The area is also home to Lowell Whiteman School and Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School.
