West Steamboat

West Steamboat Real Estate Neighborhoods

Six miles west of downtown Steamboat Springs on Highway 40 are several great family-friendly neighborhoods including: West-End Village, Steamboat II, Heritage Park, Silverspur and a little further west is the small town of Milner.  Hayden is about 45 minutes west of Steamboat just past the regional airport.

West Steamboat also includes a great little public nine-hole golf course and a private school. There are also
maintained trails in many of these developments and they are converted into cross-country skiing trails in the winter. You’ll find lots of families, bikes, and Golden Retrievers and even an outdoor ice rink in the winter in Steamboat 2, alongside the playground.

These neighborhoods developed over time but here’s some general dates of development.
Steamboat II – mid 1970’s though the 1980’s.
Heritage Park – Late 1990’s through the 2000’s.
Silver Spur – Early 2000’s to present
West End Village – Early 2000’s to present

West Steamboat has a large variety of architectural styles represented like Postmodern Residential, Craftsman, Gable and Ell, Raised Ranch, Suburban Ranch, Split-Level and several more.
